PHOTIC LAB

endogenous visual-pattern elicitor · v1.0

This tool drives your visual system with flicker and adaptive patterns. The geometric imagery it can bring out is generated by your own visual cortex — the same family of "form constants" reported in hypnagogia, migraine aura, and at the edges of altered states.

⚠ PHOTOSENSITIVITY WARNING

  • Flicker between roughly 3 and 30 Hz can trigger seizures in people with photosensitive epilepsy — including people who don't know they have it (~1 in 4,000).
  • Do not use this alone. Have someone nearby who can stop it.
  • Stop immediately at any aura, nausea, headache, eye pain, or disorientation.
  • Dim the room; don't use at maximum screen brightness.
  • Skip it entirely if you have a seizure history, photosensitivity, or are unsure.
  • Any display can be a trigger, but especially full-screen, high-contrast, full-field flicker.

By continuing you agree that you're using this at your own risk, understand the warning above, and won't hold anyone else responsible for the outcome.
